United draw Non-League side in Scottish Cup.

Ayr United have been drawn to play Scottish Junior side Lochee United.

Hailing from Lochee area of Dundee, Lochee United Football Club were formed in 1892 and play their home games at Thomson Park, which has room for 3,200 spectators, 170 of whom can be seated. Their colours are blue and white hoops.

There all time top goal scorer is Kevin Cownie who left the club in 2005. Whilst playing for the Bluebells he attracted intrest from many top clubs while playing at Thomson Park including Glasgow Rangers, Dundee and more publicly, Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Currently playing in Scottish Juniior Football Association's East Region Super League the clubs most recent success was winning the East Super League in 2008, as a result they are participating in the Scottish Cup for the first time. They are through to the third round of the competition after beating Bathgate Thirtle 3-1 in the first round and Buckie Thistle 3-0 in the second round.

Lochee United see draqwing Ayr United as being a plum tie, but it could also be a major banana skin for the Honestmen.

The third round ties will be played on Saturday 29th November.
