Stranraer have signed goalkeeper David Mitchell on a permanent contract after a successful loan spell from Ayr Utd.The 20-year-old picked up five of the club's seven end-of-season awards after being farmed out to the Division Three club in a year-long deal.
Ayr, relegated to Division Two, had wanted to retain his services, according to Stranraer's website.
However, Mitchell signed a two-year contract with the Stair Park outfit, with the option of a third year.
