Hibs' 100 per cent record ends after being blown aside by Ayr

Ayr came from behind to shatter Hibs' 100 per cent record with a 2-1 victory at Easter Road.

Hibs almost took the lead inside the first minute when Grant Holt's header was kept out by a fine save from Ayr keeper Greg Fleming.

Holt came close again when his header, from Jason Cummings' cross, came back off a post.

But Cummings finally beat Fleming 10 minutes after the interval when he curled in a superb strike from 25 yards for his eighth goal of the season.

However, the wheels came off for Hibs when Marvin Bartley was sent off for a lunge on Jamie Adams.

In the 73rd minute Conrad Balatoni equalised with a header from Brian Gilmour's cross.

Six minutes later Gilmour touched in Nicky Devlin's cross to seal a shock first away win for Ayr
