Ayr United will be without centre-back Martyn Campbell against Forfar Athletic through suspension. The injured Dean Keenan remains out with midfielder Scott McLaughlin heading a list of four players that manager Brian Reid rates as doubtful.

Forfar's caretaker boss, Ian Campbell, has named an unchanged squad after beating Ayr 3-2 in midweek.

Long-term injury victim Stephen Tulloch is not yet ready for a comeback and continues on the sidelines.

Ayr United manager Brian Reid: "We have actually played well in those games, but we are missing chances and being punished for every mistake we make."

Forfar Athletic caretaker manager Ian Campbell: "Martyn Fotheringham came on as a substitute and scored twice on Tuesday evening and he has obviously come into my thoughts for a starting place.

"Somerset Park is a really hard place to go to, but we won there recently, so we can go there with confidence.

"We are gradually getting back to the form we showed last autumn and, with a play-off place still to be secured, I am pleased with that."
