Ayr United's goal ace Bryan Prunty has won the PFA player of the year award for Division 2.

Despite not have scored as proficiently in recent weeks the Ayr youngster has still come out on top.

His 15 goals for the season have gone a long way to helping Ayr sustain a title challenge on Raith Rovers and he will also be remembered for his strike against Kilmarnock in the Scottish Cuop match at Rugby Park.

He could yet be instrumental in taking Ayr to a play off final and ultimately to Division 1.
