Ayr United have announced that their pre-schedule will commence with the Annan tournament at the Borders club on 14th July followed by a trip up the M77 to Glasgow for an away match with 1st Division Partick Thistle.

Regettably near neighbours Kilmarnock have refused a proposal by United to re-introduce the Ayrschire Cup competition and so their will be no match with our North Ayrshire neighbours.
