The project will be constructed over several phases, and on completion the new stadium will include; a total covered capacity for 7650, top class playing facilities, hospitality suites, a supporters club, shop and approximately 84,000 sq ft of modern lettable office space and extensive car parking areas.
A state of the art indoor training, sports injury and fitness facility will also be incorporated in the development, which the club believes will be the first of its kind in Scotland and will compare favourably with any in the UK.
The Ayr Stadium, Sports & Business Campus will provide high quality office accommodation with excellent parking facilities, is less than 3 miles from Prestwick Airport and has immediate access to the recently improved main arterial links to the conurbation of Greater Glasgow and South West Scotland. The new stadiums sports facilities will be available for other sports clubs and community groups and will assist in addressing the limited provision of high quality sports accommodation in South Ayrshire.
