1977 programme
Ayr United travelled to Millmoor, home of Rotherham United, on 2nd August 1977 for their first ever visit and left with their goal intact after a 0-0 draw. A 4 page programme for this match (to cover two pre-season friendlies) was produced and consisted of a front cover (shown) the squads on the inside cover and some supporters information.

It was not until 17th December 1996 that United again experienced the delights of Millmoor for a mid-season break.

The result was another draw, this time it was 2-2 with Kinnaird scoring for United.

A double programme was produced for this match to include another Rotherham friendly against Barnsley
